On April 9, 2008 Gene, Mai and Dave Wilson boarded a Northwest Airline flight from Manila to Indianapolis via Nagoya, Japan and Detroit. The plane was delayed four hours in Japan so we arrived late and could not make our connection to Indianapolis. We did get on another flight and arrived in Indianapolis two hours later than our scheduled flight.
Randy Gibler picked us up at the airport and we arrived in Oblong about six in the evening. We knocked on the door to my house and told Lisa we were home. Surprise!
It has now been one week and one day since our arrival. We are mostly over our jet lag and the cold all three of us had when we arrived here. Life since our arrival has been a flurry of intense activity.

Dave Wilson celebrates his third birthday on March 31, 2008 at the family home in Davao City Republic of the Philippines.
It was both a birthday celebration and a farewell visit from family members as Gene, Mai and Dave Wilson prepare to move to the United States from Davao City where they have lived since Dave’s birth on March 31, 2005.
It was nice to have an opportunity to share this birthday celebration and farewell party with our family.
The Wilson Family enjoys water sports on wave runner during the trip to Pearl Farm.

We had a wonderful time playing in the water and riding the water craft.
