Since we have been home in Oblong I have discovered that Mai enjoys the old television show, Leave It To Beaver. She laughs and has a great time watching the drama about Beaver as he navigates his way through 1950′s America.

She is aware that the show is more than half a century old and still enjoys watching as do I.

The plane was delayed four hours in Japan so we arrived late and could not make our connection to Indianapolis. We did get on another flight and arrived in Indianapolis two hours later than our scheduled flight.

Randy Gibler picked us up at the airport and we arrived in Oblong about six in the evening. We knocked on the door to my house and told Lisa we were home. Surprise!

It has now been one week and one day since our arrival. We are mostly over our jet lag and the cold all three of us had when we arrived here. Life since our arrival has been a flurry of intense activity.
